I’ve worked for myself in one form or another since my teens. From early side hustles to running licensed riverside tea rooms and a successful B&B, creating hampers, selling candles and clothing, leading a team with The Body Shop at Home, and more recently running a healing practice and teaching meditation—I’ve seen most angles of small business.
It wasn’t all smooth. There were long hours, tough calls, missed family moments, and the pressure that comes with being responsible for customers, staff, and outcomes. There were also the wins: loyal customers, genuine connections, and the satisfaction when everything comes together.
What that gives me is perspective:
I get what it takes to open the shutters, show up, and keep going. That’s why CW Events Hampshire exists: to create well-run, commercially sound markets that put independent brands in front of the right audiences—and make it easier for traders to trade.
I’m here to do the work—curate quality, run organised events, and shine a light on Hampshire’s independent businesses and the people behind them.
