Meet the family - Claire, Amy and Jay
CLAIRE is the heart and soul of CW Events Hampshire. She’s been bringing ideas to life for over 35 years, running everything from bustling cafés to charming boutique B&Bs. She’s got a knack for turning spaces into something special, and now she’s on a mission to bring local markets back to life. She believes small businesses deserve a proper place to shine—not just an online presence—and she’s here to make it happen.
AMY is the queen of organisation! She’s the one making sure every market has the perfect mix of traders, keeping things running smoothly, and making it all look easy (even with baby Reuben along for the ride!). She’s proof that you can juggle motherhood and markets—and do it brilliantly!
JAY is our friendly go-to guy for all things marketing. You’ll spot him spreading the word about our events, chatting with locals, handing out flyers, and making sure everyone knows where to find us. He’s always up for a natter—especially if it’s about football!

We know how hard small businesses work (because we have all been self employed in the past!) and we want to give small local businesses the best chance to thrive.
We also believe that shopping should be an experience—one that’s exciting, full of personality, and leaves you feeling inspired. As individuals we love to shop in person - we love to meet the people behind the products and we understand the importance of social connection and how it impacts good mental health.
